On the evening of May 16, 2024, Toyota of Dothan hosted its first annual Food Truck Face Off, creating an unforgettable event filled with delicious food, lively entertainment, and community spirit. The event, aimed at raising funds for the local Special Olympics, saw a remarkable turnout and a significant contribution to a worthy cause.
Seven food trucks participated in the friendly competition, offering a variety of delectable cuisines that delighted the enthusiastic crowd. As part of the event’s charitable initiative, 5% of each food truck’s earnings were dedicated to funding the Special Olympics, resulting in a substantial donation. Toyota of Dothan further amplified this generosity by adding an extra $4,000, bringing the total raised to an impressive $4,385.
The evening was not just about food but also about fun and entertainment. A lively DJ set the perfect backdrop with upbeat music, while corn hole games added a competitive edge to the festivities. Families enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, with children seen dancing, laughing, and creating wonderful memories.
Highlighting the evening’s competition, the Greek Street food truck captured the coveted People’s Choice Award, winning the hearts (and taste buds) of many attendees. Meanwhile, Wok N Soul emerged victorious in the overall face off, earning well-deserved accolades for their culinary excellence.
