Stock the Pantry 2026 Recap: Five Truckloads of Help for the Christian Mission

Every February, our Enterprise dealerships rally around a mission that matters to us, making sure the Christian Mission Food Pantry has the support it needs after the holiday season.

Stock the Pantry is a tradition we’ve carried on for many, many years, and it’s one of the most meaningful things we do as a Mitchell Automotive family.

Why February Matters

After the holidays, the Christian Mission often sees their shelves run low, even though the need never slows down. On average, the Christian Mission Food Pantry provides more than 12,000 pounds of groceries every single month to families right here in our community.

That is a big number, and it represents real people, real homes, and real meals. Stock the Pantry is our way of stepping in at just the right time to help restock what’s been depleted and keep that monthly impact going strong.

Showing Up Where the Community Shops

Throughout February, our teams from Mitchell Nissan, Mitchell Hyundai, and Mitchell CDJR spent time at local grocery stores collecting nonperishable food donations. We saw familiar faces, met new ones, and had countless conversations with neighbors who simply wanted to help.

This drive is always a reminder that generosity lives here. People are busy, budgets are tight, and life moves fast, but our community still shows up for each other.

None of this happens without partners in the community who help us make donating easy. We’re truly grateful to Grocery Advantage, Piggly Wiggly at WestGate Shopping Center, and Piggly Wiggly on Geneva Highway for allowing our teams to set up and collect donations each year. Thank you for being part of what makes Stock the Pantry possible.

A New Twist: Free Oil Changes for a Cause

This year, we added something new, and it turned into one of our favorite parts of the month.

Mitchell Nissan and Mitchell Hyundai offered free oil changes on Wednesday afternoons in February to anyone who brought in a bag of nonperishable food items for the drive. It was a simple way to say thank you to donors while also making it easier for more people to participate.

We loved seeing customers turn a routine service visit into an opportunity to do something kind for someone else.

Delivery Day: 5 Full Trucks of Groceries

Today was the best part, loading up and delivering everything to the Christian Mission. Thanks to our community and our team’s effort all month long, we unloaded five full trucks of groceries for the pantry.

Seeing it all come together like that is hard to put into words, but it’s the kind of moment that reminds us why this drive has lasted for so many years.

“Stock the Pantry has been part of who we are for many years. Giving back to this community isn’t just something we do, it’s something we believe in. The Christian Mission Food Pantry provides more than 12,000 pounds of groceries every single month to families right here at home, and that kind of impact only happens when a community comes together. We’re grateful to play a small role in supporting their mission, and we’re thankful to everyone who donates and helps us make sure our neighbors have food on the table.”

Thank you, Enterprise

To everyone who donated at the grocery stores, brought food in for the free oil change days, helped spread the word, or cheered us on, thank you. Stock the Pantry works because our community makes it work.

We’re proud to do this year after year, and we’re already grateful for the impact it will continue to make in the months ahead.
