Mitchell Automotive is proud to support Enterprise State Community College (ESCC) as they launch their new Automotive Technology program. To help students gain hands-on experience, we donated a vehicle that will be used for training in the classroom and shop.
ESCC’s Automotive Technology program is designed to prepare students for real careers in the automotive industry by building skills in diagnosis, repair, and maintenance across today’s complex vehicle systems. With new workforce training spaces coming online for programs like Automotive Technology, opportunities like this are more important than ever.
Why a training vehicle matters
You can study automotive systems in a book, but the real learning happens when students get to:
- Inspect and troubleshoot real-world issues
- Practice repair procedures the right way, step-by-step
- Build confidence using tools and equipment in a lab setting
- Learn teamwork, safety habits, and shop fundamentals that translate directly into the workplace
A donated vehicle gives instructors more flexibility to teach, and it gives students more time turning wrenches and solving problems, which is exactly what future technicians need.
Investing in the next generation of technicians
As a family of dealerships rooted in this community, we believe in backing programs that build strong local career paths. ESCC is helping students step into an in-demand field, and we’re honored to play a small part in their training.
To the students entering ESCC’s Automotive Technology program: we’re cheering you on. We can’t wait to see what you learn and where this career takes you.
